Welcome back, 

 So far the competition has been hugely successful, with nearly thirty first rounds of a remarkably high standard. Commiserations to speakers who have not progressed to the later rounds, we hope you will continue debating in the future, whether in school or university.

 For those who have progressed to the second rounds, here is some information regarding the remainder of the competition:

Second rounds will begin on the 19th of January, and continue for the next two weeks, with rounds also taking place on the 22nd, 26th and 29th of January. Please be advised that details of these debates will be arriving in the near future.

From there the competition will progress to Quarter Finals, which will take place in the second week of February, Semi Finals, which will take place at the beginning of March and the Grand Final which will take place towards the end of March, though an exact date has yet to be confirmed.
